Cocktail mixing Championship
Hundreds of barmen from all over the world will take part in the 12th Pan American Cocktail Championship, scheduled to take place on 25 - 31 August at the Tryp Habana Libre Hotel.
This important event will be held for the first time in Cuba, in keeping with an agreement adopted two years ago at the 10thª Pan American Assembly of the International Bartenders Association (IBA), in Lima, Peru.
The holding of the event in Havana is in recognition to the professionalism of Cuban barmen and to the advancement of the tourist industry in the island. It is estimated that approximately 300 persons will attend the competition as contestants or observers.
